Why choose the Ecotrax Rail-Rider Tour

  • a 3-hour tour departing from the Cuvu base twice daily 9.30am and 1.30pm
  • arrive 30 mins prior to departure time and have a short safety briefing and history of the sugarcane industry and the base building being the old FSC locomotive shed.
  • you are then fitted with the helmets and the bicycle seats are adjusted to your correct heights for maximum comfort before heading out 11.4kms along the tramline
  • on the way you get to cross over railway bridges, go through the rainforest, mangroves, big rock cuttings, through fields and villages, there are lots of animals and friendly locals along the way.
  • upon arriving at the Vunabua beach, take a swim, snorkel and enjoy a secluded beach on the blow-up couches. You will be served with 3 types of locally grown fruits, a brown coconut and a green coconut drink along with cold bottled water.
  • 1 hour is spent at the beach then back to on the velocipedes and back to the base, the view riding back is different as you will be looking up the coast.

  • No "Fiji time" here, we're on the computer all day every day making sure bookings are processed really fast
  • As soon as you book we'll send you an "Order Pending" email to say we have received this. No money is taken yet. We then book your trip (as fast as humanly possible) then send you a second "Order Confirmed" email with all the important details of your trip, pick up times, booking reference number etc. You'll need to print the second email out and bring it with you or be able to show it on a mobile device.
  • Your credit card is stored in our booking systems secure vault and will automatically be deleted 30 days after your trip.


  • If you cancel for any reason within 24 hours of the tour we are unable to give you a refund PLUS you will have to pay the full balance owing on the order. We will automatically deduct the balance from your credit card.
  • If you cancel before 24 hours of the tour, then you will be provided with a full refund.
  • We highly recommend you have travel insurance to cover any possible cancellations.
  • We have rain ponchos for showers and will generally go ahead with the tour unless very bad weather or flooding. If a guest chooses not to come due to moderately wet weather, they can book another day if bookings allow.
