The BBQ E-Boat Experience with Hot Fiji
1. Check-In and Briefing
Please arrive at Port Denarau Marina 10 minutes before departing. The Hot Fiji team will greet you, check you in, and provide a short briefing on safety and operation details.
2. Be the Captain
Someone from your group will take on the role of Guest Skipper and wear a fun captain’s hat for your pictures. No boat experience is necessary, just listen to the team, and you will be set to leave.
3. Fire Up the BBQ
Every boat comes with a pre-lit charcoal grill, BBQ utensils, and an ice bucket to keep drinks cold. Guests may bring their own food or choose Hot Fiji’s BBQ package that includes fresh ingredients.
4. Cruise and Enjoy Activities
While your food is being prepared, you can:
- Try your hand at line fishing
- Participate in Bula karaoke sessions
- Play small onboard BBQ-themed games
- Relax, converse, and eat your meals with stunning views
5. Scenic Views and Photo Moments

After 3 hours, the hot fiji boat experience returns to the marina, where the hot fiji team helps with the docking process, assisting with any issues to help make the experience much easier and more comfortable.

Booking Information
To book the BBQ E-Boat:
- Choose a package as well as a departure time (either morning or afternoon).
- And get a complimentary Hot Fiji BBQ Package with the Bring Your Own food/drinks package.
- Pay in Full as a way of confirming your booking.

Booking Notes
- Arrival Time: For late arrivals, all payments are lost, and all guests are expected during check-in no later than 10 minutes before departure time.
- Food and Drinks: Guests may either bring their own food and drink or may pre-order Hot Fiji’s BBQ package. Alcohol is on the board and is allowed.
- Facilities: There are no toilets on board, and all guests are given the option to use the marina restrooms before the time of departure.
- Children: Children are allowed on board, however, they must be supervised by a responsible adult.
- Weather Policy: In the event of lightning, all trips may be postponed, and the customer can get a full refund.
Terms & Conditions
Payments
- Full payment is required at the time of booking.
- All prices include the required FJD local taxes.
- Those who have made payments will receive a booking confirmation email.
Cancellations
- Full refund is payable for cancellations made 48 or more hours before the cruise.
- Cancellations made 24 hours before the cruise will be charged a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the cruise or those that don’t show are charged 100% of the cruise fee.
- Operator cancellations due to weather conditions will offer passengers the choice of a full refund or to rebook.
Guest Skipper Requirements
- All skippers must be 18 years old and present a valid ID.
- All guests must agree to a waiver due to risks incurred.
- All guests must attend the safety briefing before departure.
Conduct and Safety
- All guests are expected to comply with the requests of the crew at all times.
- The captain of the cruise is entitled to terminate the cruise early if unsafe behavior is exhibited by any participants or if any are found to be intoxicated.
- The use of illegal drugs or dangerous weapons will not be tolerated.
- Any guests found with glass bottles will be asked to leave the cruise.
Operator Rights
- All cruise times are subject to change without notice due to unforeseen operational or weather constraints.
- In the case of bad weather or operational difficulties, one or more alternative vessels may be used.
Media Use
- Captains may take pictures or videos of the cruise to be used for promotional purposes. Any guests wishing not to be included may opt out.
