Pick up from resorts and hotels commencing 8:00am for a 45 minutes coach transfer to the Robinson Crusoe Island Jetty, then a 10.0am departure for a half hour River Cruise down the Tuva River. Transfers are extra.
On approach to the island be wary of the cannibals as a cannibal attack is likely! Be prepared with your camera as this is a good photo opportunity as the cannibals are in traditional dress with weapons in hand. After a great beach welcome by the staff & occasionally some of our in-house guests, you will have free time to go Fishing, Stand up Paddle Boarding, Massage or a refreshing drink from our Wreck Bar (All at extra cost)
Enjoy a Free Activity like kayaking, swim in the pool or in our private lagoon or perhaps some snorkelling on our nearby coral reef. Take the Jungle Bush Walk or just laze on the beach, catch some sun and look at the magnificent island scenery. Watch as the staff climb the coconut tree to retrieve coconuts, and then take part in our juice tasting demonstration fresh from the coconuts.
Meander over to the Lovo pit where Fijian traditions and cooking Lovo style is explained. When the food is taken out of the Lovo our Fijian warriors walk the hot stones and coals then it”s on to a fresh healthy lunch consisting of garden salads, chicken, ham and fish all served buffet style. The traditional Kavaholic Band plays island guitars & sings whilst you enjoy your lunch. The fantastic & world famous South Pacific & Fijian Dance Spectacular Show begins with traditional Fijian Warrior dances, Traditional Polynesian, Melanesian & South Pacific Dances with Knife Dancing and to finish off, the spectacular Fire Dance. A fabulous finish to a great show.
After all the excitement of the show you can either once again board our snorkelling boat “Adi Katarina” or “Fijian Princess” to take a short trip out to magnificent coral reefs for some snorkelling. Alternatively, those of you who would rather remain on the island, can take the Jungle Bush Walk with one of our guides who explains all the traditional methods of using plants which grow naturally on the island, as medicines.
Then venture down to our Turtle viewing area where you may be lucky enough to see one or two, that”s followed by our crab race and then finally a very heartfelt “Moce Sota Tale” from all our staff before boarding our boat again at 4.30pm to take the return Jungle Cruise back down the Tuva river back to our Jetty.
